A light machine goes up on the trailer and off you go. With a heavy one, the road, the speed and the ground it comes off onto all matter, so we settle them before the day.
The road
We check in advance where the loaded low loader will pass. Small village bridges, tight turns at crossroads and wires strung low over the road all count. If the short way will not take it, we go round.
The speed
With a heavy machine on the deck, the low loader pulls away gently, brakes early and takes hills slowly. Through Chișinău we use the wide streets, usually outside rush hour.
Where it comes off
On soft ground after rain, or on a lawn, a heavy machine sinks. We unload it on a firm spot as close to the work as we can, and from there it goes on its own tracks or wheels.

Loaded, the low loader heads south on the main road, slower than the rest of the traffic. In villages it slows down at bridges and bends. A trip like this usually takes a few hours.

No need to follow the low loader. The people in Tvardița know roughly when to expect it.

In Tvardița
We unload the roller at the spot chosen the evening before, and it drives itself to where it has to work. The low loader leaves.
What you do
Clear the building materials off the area to be rolled, so the roller can start straight away.

What does heavy equipment transport cost, and what sets the price?
The price depends on the machine and how many kilometres the trip is. We tell you the price in our first conversation, and then we choose the moving day.
Is my machine too heavy for your low loader?
Usually not. The low loader is built for heavy site machines. If yours is a rarer one, the make and model show us at once how heavy and how wide it is.
How long does moving a heavy machine take?
Loading and unloading are quick, and the road takes most of the time. A move within Chișinău usually takes half a day. To the far end of the country, the low loader is on the road all day.
What hour should we expect you?
We set the time with the people at both ends. For a long trip we leave early, so the machine arrives with nearly the whole working day still ahead.
What if the low loader cannot get all the way to the site?
We unload the machine where the road is still good, and it covers the rest on its own tracks or wheels. We choose that spot beforehand with someone who knows the road.
Can you bring one of your own heavy machines with an operator?
Yes. We bring our backhoe loader, excavator or roller on the low loader, and our operator does the work. Once the job is finished, we take the machine back.
